At Jard\u00edn Alak, you can take a guided tour to learn about the Mayan bees called Xun\u00e1an Kaab. As part of the experience, they offer five Mayan beverages made with extracts of medicinal plants, which are extracted in an artisanal way. They add Xun\u00e1an Kaab honey to these beverages, combining the properties of the plants with the honey, which contains 21 beneficial amino acids for health. During the tour, you will get to know the plants from the four cardinal points, as well as touch and interact with the Mayan bees. Some of the extracts used for the drinks include bellflower, lemon grass, bougainvillea, zebrina, and purple agave, each aimed at alleviating or controlling certain diseases or discomforts. Jard\u00edn Alak is a unique sanctuary in Yucat\u00e1n that seeks to preserve, conserve, reproduce, and share knowledge about Xun\u00e1an Kaab bees and medicinal plants. It is located in the town of Tekom, which is known as \"the place of the hollow.\"<\/p>
