Cheese balls are one of the favourites of Yucatecan bakeries, made with a base of puff pastry, filled with cream cheese, and their characteristic and delicious sugar coating on the outside that crumbles when bitten. These were created more than 40 years ago by the pastry chef of the Holiday Inn Hotel, Jos\u00e9 Dolores May Keb, who in his desire to do something different, created this famous piece of Yucatan's sweet bakery. There is no better time to eat them than freshly baked to fully enjoy their aroma and texture, you can find them in traditional bakeries and they are the perfect snack for a dessert, breakfast, or even special occasions, a tradition that due to its handmade preparation, everyone who tries them loves!<\/p>
