If you love the colonial past of convents, at Conkal <\/em>village you can find the Sacred Art Museum, located in a section of the St. Francis of Assisi former Franciscan convent. There, you can see great part of the historic and cultural heritage of the region, like paintings, ceramics, and background from the church in Yucatecan territory. This convent was built in 1549 and is located by a temple; it has four halls, in the first one you can have fun with an easy interactive game, where you will see some illustrations of distances between temples and convents, what gives the idea of transportation times it took to friars when going from one place to another. On the second hall, you can see pictures of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Peter, St. Michael the Archangel, St. Joshua, and the Immaculate Conception. In the third hall you can see replicas from altarpieces from the 18th century. Finally, in the fourth hall you can go on a trip to the 19th<\/sup> century. It is undoubtedly, a place you must visit, and the fact that it is near Dzibilchalt\u00fan<\/em> archeological site makes it an ideal destination to spend a great tourist day full of culture.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>
