Ixcatik restaurant, Mayan traditional cuisine, takes you to a culinary experience in an ancient environment, which let you know more about their culture, through authentic dishes from the Mayan traditional cuisine.<\/p>

Ixcatik is a space created to share culture and gastronomy through a unique experience. Learn the way in which every ingredient is prepared for each dish, the team is willing to share their knowledge with each one of the diners. The techniques and recipes have been inherited by their ancestors, ancient techniques and recipes are combined to create an unparalleled flavor.<\/p>

During this culinary experience, you can enjoy the fresh flavor of ingredients collected in the garden, as well as organic ingredients from local producers and from the region, their objective is to focus the attention on flavor and quality. At IXCATIK, they define themselves as a local company, Mayan descendants, thus Mayan language speakers. The place has been classified as one of the best restaurants of its type.<\/p>

The small Mayan kitchen, where tortillas are made, the food offering to the Mayan god, the woodfire oven or pib, as well as the cocoa sample are the most emblematic areas of this culinary experience.<\/p>
