Located in Muna<\/em> village, near Puuc<\/em> Route, Los Ceibos<\/em>, the Mayan art atelier brings you the opportunity to learn about the various kinds of replicas from original pieces that have been exported or exhibited in diverse museums around the world.<\/p>

This atelier is formed by an artisan family, who make high quality archeological replicas of Mayan art in stone, jade, and clay, using pre-Hispanic techniques. Each member of this team has a specialty: Rodrigo Mart\u00edn sculpts; Juli\u00e1n makes ceramic jars, plates, and pots rotate in the wheel; and Patricia Mart\u00edn paints the intricated stories of Mayan life and ritual on the ceramics.<\/p>

Walk around the atelier and be astonished by the composition of shades and colors outstanding on each piece. You will see jars, plates, pots, statuettes, urns, censers, among many other items. Learn more about the process of making these pieces, and if you fall in love with any of them, do not hesitate in buying it. Imagine having an exact replica of a piece exhibited in a national or even international museum.<\/p>

This atelier is full of ancient history, visit it and go deep into Mayan culture, and if possible, take a little piece of it with you.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>
